New service pack?

Just wondering when a new service pack would be coming out. Inking has been
frustrating enough that I almost switched to GoBinder; GoBinder bugs kept me
away for the moment.

Top priorities for me:
1. Fix inking problems
a. Lasso selection
b. Windows Journal-like inking
i. Ink anywhere and all is recognized
ii. Change existing ink color by selecting and picking color
2. OneNote printer that allows searching printed documents

Those were the only reason I considered GoBinder as an alternative.

First, which version of OneNote are you running? Hopefully, you're using
SP1. Are you on a Tablet PC, if so which one and are you running Tablet PC
Edition 2005 with Windows XP SP2?

Andy,

Microsoft hasn't announced any service pack beyond Service Pack 1 for
OneNote 2003. Frustrating though it can be from the outside, we won't
know until any (hypothetical) announcement is made at some future
date.

However, if you have suggestions for future improvements in OneNote
please keep contributing those. The better that Microsoft understands
how people use OneNote and what the pain points are the better the
next service or version of OneNote is likely to be.
