New Shapes for Visual Calculation

J

JuneTheSecond

I made a set of shapes for flowchart like calculation on Visio drawing.
They are not yet complte. I am trying now for farther improvement.
Here in my site are a set of stencils and sample drawings I tested.

I build my site in geocities.com at first, but deleted, may be, due to any
violation to their terms of service, I could find out what is wrong, so I
moved my site to geocities.jp. Here, my site is still alive.

Correction:
I could find out what is wrong, ==> I could not find out what is wrong,

Hey JTS,

These are really cool shapes!

When I first started using Visio, right out of engineering school, I had
wanted to make similar shapes...but that was long before VBA.

Thanks for your excellent contribution!

Are you considering bundling shapes up.

For example, assume I have a calculation sequence that I want to use several
times. Is there an "entry" and "exit" shape into the "group" ...or....would
one just group the shapes up and use some shapesheet cell to funnel into the
internal shapes?

BTW...I could see this as a easy way to MVS system performance analysis
graphically. This is a great idea.

Do you mean a kind of function like a sub routine or a function in programing?

After the "isometric piping", another creative contribution from Japan.
It makes me think about the free Zeliosoft software to control a Smart Relay.

If you want to interfere with the real world, you will have to buy the smart
relay.

Assume the following (gives a view of how this works in MVS):

I have components (say a disk or memory or CPU) that has a service time
defined so the latency is dependent of arrival rate and service time. So
now suppose I want to model up a server with 2 CPUs, 8 disks. I would like
to define a "group" that has several of your shapes included and where the
input into this group is the arrival of items (note the service time may be a
combination of math...aka for
disks..the swing/spin/transfer rates). So I can use this group several
times instead of building each "disk" up.

This gives you an overview of MVS...when you see the picture, the light in
your head will turn on!!!
