New stoplight view--mass publish?

Marcus Pierce

I have created a new stoplight view similar to the one mentioned here:
http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/CreateStoplightIndicators.htm.
(I'm on a test server running Project Server 2003 with SP2a). I now need to
re-publish all the plans (as mentioned). Can I use the View Populator Utility
(mentioned here:
http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/PublishMultipleProjects.htm)?
Or do I need to go through the process mentioned at the end of the first
article so that I can choose the new view and recalculate (F9)?

Thanks,

You actually need to open each project and press the F9 function key to
recalculate the project, and then you can publish the changes. Since the
View Populator Utility does not open and recalculate your projects, it won't
help in your scenario. Hope this helps.

That's what I figured. Thanks Dale.
