New Sync error Snow Leopard

I just had a nasty happen in Entourage/iCal sync which I've never
experienced before and am going to report this to both Microsoft (a
heck of a lot that will do me) and Apple but something went awry in a
handheld BlackBerry sync of calendars and tasks and a number of tasks
changed from completed to uncompleted (I've seen this happen in the
past). I got a backup of my Entourage DB and when I told Entourage to
overwrite iCal nothing happened. I then deleted everything in iCal and
told Entourage to overwrite iCal and it combined - that is it deleted
everything in Entourage. I've never seen this occur. I tried more than
once but an over write to sync services did not work at all as
expected. Further, when I went and checked my Addressbook (Apple) all
the company addresses had no name. I went into Time Machine and went
back and all addresses had a name. I just restored that, sync'd using
combine with Entourage and tested to make sure they were working
together and they were but this is new, bizarre behavior.

I've finally got this fixed but this is a new behavior that's arisen
in Snow Leopard and I'd say its very problematic

I have not tested Snow Leopard to see if it syncs multiple modules at
the same time without error (only have one module enabled as a
workaround) but I've heard that not only is sync services not fixed
but that one developer identified three new bugs. Yuk!
