New Table not LInking

I created a new table in my database and linked it in the
relationships option -- as well as in any pertinent
queries. It is working well except when I go to back it
up and then copy it onto another pc -- the linked table
does not appear. When I do a 'get external' for that
table, it cannot be imported since the link is not
there. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

What "it" are you copying? Is this a "split" database (tables in one
..mdb file, with links to them from a frontend .mdb file containing
everything else)? If so, what are you copying to the other database?

Hi.

Yes, this is a split database in Access 2000. I have
the .MDB file and the BE_.MDB file on my pc at one office
and I back up both files onto a zipdisk for when I go to
the other location (to run customized reports). But the
table that is not being linked is not copying over.
Again, it shows the link in the relations option from the
main menu but when I look in the tables, it is not
showing the link symbol, like the others do. Hope this
helps. Thanks again.

Did you create the new table *in the backend*? And, if so, did you use
File... Get External Data... Link to link it to the frontend? What
does the Linked Table Manager show?
