"New" task designation field?

After migrating from MSPS 2003 to MSPS 2007 all of the old tasks (completed
tasks)are now designated as "New" tasks on all team members My Tasks page.
For some resources this means thousands of old tasks with the "New"
designation. Is there anywhere in the databases I can go to do a one time
correction of all tasks to make them no longer designated as "New"? Is there
a field somewhere where this can be changed so that all of these old tasks
can be made old again?

I have the same issue with thousands of tasks. Did you ever get a
resoluition to this? I know by opening each task the field clears but to
open thousand of tasks is not reasonable. I have tried various fields in the
database but have been unable to determine which filed is controlling the
"new" flag.

This definitely slows down the browser with so many "new" tasks.
