New Templates for PowerPoint

I've downloaded a few new templates from mactopia, Resources/
Templates/Templates Gallery (Designs) for Office v X - link is:

I've placed them in the Templates/Designs folder in the Office
Application folder. But when opening Powerpoint and trying to use the
new template I can see it listed (with the others) but it is pale and not
active.

How do I use MS Designs Templates in my PowerPoint Application?!!
