New to Access VBA-Run Sub Menu Option

When I click on the run sub/user form menu option the Macros window pops up.
I don't have any macros and I have to cancel the window and the sub doesn't
run. any suggestions ???

Huh? What is the "run sub/user form menu option"? Where is the "sub" -
in a standard module, a form module or a class module? What version of
Access?

Please remember, we do not have a video link to your PC. We only know
what you've said in your post. And that ain't much!

TC---OOPS--I left off some info- Version-Access in Office XP Pro 2002,Class
Object,Form, Visual Basic Window. Trying to run a subroutine to see if I have
the coding correct. I enter the coding and click on the "Run" drop down menu
option from the menu bar at the top of the screen. The drop down menu lists
"Run Sub/User Form (F5). I click on that and the Macro List Box appears on
screen and the code does not execute. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
