A
Atlantic Wraps
Evening everyone,
I just started today to use FP2003. I did my first site with 2002 a
few years ago - self taught but it is fine, but recently my system
crashed so decided to install 2003. And now I'm totally confused. Now
this whole "Remote Web Site" - it is coming up as a folder in my C
Drive. Is that right? Also, I'm trying to get the photo gallery to
work but when I preview it in the browser it is blank. Can't figure
that out at all, so any help there would be appreciated.. I've wasted
an entire day just trying to get the first page going. All it seems to
be doing is constantly synchronizing between the site and the remote
site and my codes are totally messed up. Also, I thought with 2003
that it automatically would generate the "DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC
"-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" on to the pages. I don't see
this when I look at the codes.
I know I should probably pick up a book, which I may in the near
future, but I really want to get this site started. I've been paying
for the hosting so would like to start getting my monies worth.
Thanks,
Patty
