new to infopath

Hello,

I would like some help with info path. I am new to this, but is considering
using info path to create a form to help streamline the timesheet process at
our company. I have several questions before I invest my time into create
one. Is it possible for the info path form I have be published onto our
company's website so that people can fill out the form and submit it online?
And since it is a time sheet we use to invoice our customer, can I link these
forms to a excel or access database to automatically update the information
for me so I can query the data?

Hi Kym.
Yes this is a common use for InfoPath

Best practice is to publish it to a web server and then have the data submit
to a database for reporting and integration with your payroll system. You
also might have some workflow for approvals etc.
