New Universal Code Office??

Any word on when a new universal/Intel code version of Office for Mac might
be out? I can notice that running Office 2004 for Mac under Rosetta is
sluggish. Much thanks.

It doesn't seem any slower than the PPC version did to be honest. It never
was a fast reacting app.

To answer your question, probably 2023. :-D

Thanks for the feedback. I'm new to Mac, so I have nothing to compare it
against. I agree that we may be old and gray before the come out with
something new. That's why I'm tempted to try to convert over to Mac's Mail
app. At least then I'll get updated versions with each OS release - which
Apple actually seems to be dedicated to.

Sure - Lots of "word", but not from anyone who actualy *Knows* anything.

One thing I _can_ assure you of is that when it's ready Microsoft will
probably make an announcement of some sort.
