I don't know what you mean by splashscreen exactly.
However, a form can be created that gives choices, for
example, to run a query. But the button can say whatever
you want it to say. The query that it runs would be
called a parameter query. In the criteria field, enter
[Supply the prompt here]. That is, use [ ] around
whatever text you want the user to see. This can be
entered in two fields. The query then displays the
results that match both criteria.
