how do i make number ascend if i start with 120501 how
do i make the next box 120502 and so on? i can do it with
the dates but not numbers i put in thank you

By formula:

=A1+1

Automatically:

Enter A1
Point to A1 bottom right corner
left click and hold down
Drag down or across,
press and hold down Ctrl,
release the left click,
left click again
release Ctrl

Or:

Enter A1
Select the range to be filled
Edit > Fill > Series > OK
