I am running Server 2003, and Exchange 2003. For some reason my new
users are not showing up in the Gal. They can log in fine, and access
there mail box using outlook, also send and receive mail. But I have
users that want to see there calendars and access them via the GAL.
Where is the GAL? How can I begin to troubleshoot this. I have
already checked every post and all I can find is "Make sure the hide
from Exchange address lists box on the Exchange advanced tab is not
checked. " Its not. And just to be sure I have checked it hit apply
unchecked . Restarted still to no avail. I can't logically get my head
around where is the physical location of the GAL file. And what
processes and services are involved with populating it and how can I
check these services and tools to locate the malfunction. Or at least
find a work around to make the users name show up there while I
troubleshoot the larger problem.
Perhaps I could be directed to an article or KB that focuses on the GAL
and RUS specifically.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
