New version & Access related question

K

Kevin

I had used Project 98 a number of years ago, and am considering the purchase
of 2003 or possibly 2007. What purpose does the "AE" version serve vs. the
one that does not carry the "AE"? There seems to be quite a difference in
price.

Also, I currently track data in Access that may be usefull in Project. Is
there a way to link some of the data?

Thanks in adavance for any feedback!

Hi Kevin,

The "AE" version is the Academic Edition version. See the following URL
for information on which organizations are eligible for the Academic
discount pricing.

You can import information from an Access file into MS Project. You'll
need to read up on the pjdb.htm file found at the installation point for
Project.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
