Does anyone know appriximately when a new version (After Office 2004
for Mac) of Microsoft Office for the Mac is expected to be released?

Approximately? Absolutely... Sometime between today and the end of 2008

Seriously, those who know are not at liberty to say, and those willing to
say don't really know. That sort of information is coverd by Non-Disclosure
Agreement, and you can be sure that when it is close enough to be pertinent
MS will make an announcement.
