New Version

When is the next version beyond MS Project 2003 going to be released and what
advantages will it have over 2003. We are currently running 2000 and I am
testing 2003 i our environment.

As far as I know, not yet announced. 2003 not much different than 2000
and 2002 other than the occasional bug fix. The major changes were
releated to upgrade in the companion Project Server and now Project
Enterprise Project Management with 2003. I would guess they'll be
furhter integrating these enterprise tools into other Microsoft
enterprise tools and making it yet larger and more valuable (and
expensive) for larger "enterprises".

Those who know can't tell.

However, looking at history you can see some pattern of release history for
Project and Office in general. At least since 2000 they have been released
on similar schedules.

You can also expect Project to follow the GUI changes which Office uses. As
for actual scheduling features, you will have to wait until they make some
sort of public announcement.
