New Views I create are changing existing Views in Project Server

I have TWO instances (one SP1, one SP2) where I am seeing the same behavior:
if I create a new, custom view in Project Server in the Enterprise Global, an
existing view also takes on all columns of the new view. If I save and exit
and then come back in, the views are identical. Changing one view changes
the other. I have tried removing the local cached copies of the views, it
has not worked. The only thing different between the views is the name and
the filter. Otherwise every change I make to one is immediately reflected in
the other. This is NEW behavior: I know I was able to create a unique view
in the SP1 environment two weeks ago.

In Microsoft Project, the software uses the following definition of a View:

View = Table + Filter + Group + Screen

The problem in your situation is that you have two Views that use the same
Table in common (a Table is a collection of columns). To correct your
problem, you should make a copy of the Table that is used in common between
the two Views and give the new Table an original name. Then include this
new Table in the new custom enterprise View and you will solve the problem.
Also refer to the following FAQ about problems you may encounter with
pollution of your Enterprise Global file:

Hope this helps.
