NewBe Qustions about Shape Sheets

I have some custom shapes for a particular modeling scenario. I would like
to add some sections to the ShapeSheet. I have looked at User-Defined and
Custom Properties but they don't really fit. e.g. I would like to add the
label and column titles.

Is this possible through the Visio UI? Is this the correct place to store
data associated with a shape?

Any help appreciated.

The user defined section and the Custom properties are the correct
place to store your data.

The only difference between the user defined and custom property
sections is that the custom properties have a UI to manage them, while
the user-defined has the shape sheet only. Of course both are
available through automation.

I would place the information you want in one or the other and you can
access that data by inserting with a text fields (insert fields from
right mouse menu on text edit). Remember sub shapes can access any
other shapes cells (shape.1!user.row_1)
