My boss gave me the job of putting about 600 events on a calendar to be
printed. This is for his childrens school calendar for the 2008-2009 school
year.
I have the events in a spreadsheet.
start date | end date | event name | event type
I started entering these in Publisher - but it is a lot of work. Is it
possible to make a macro that will take the list of dates and insert them in
the correct days. as a bonus - it should color that background of the even
based on the event type and/or insert a icon for each event. With this many
event there are sure to be days that have up to 3 events per day. and some
events last for up to 2 weeks. that is why I have start date and end date
columns. Most events are single day events.
So if someone could point me in the right direction I would really
appreciate it. He may even be willing to compensate someone if this saves
enough time.
Thanks
