Newbie - emailing rules

Hope you can help me - I am new to Infopaths and I have been tryingto design
a form for the flow of information between various groups, the make-up of
which will change according to the data. How do I set up a single form that
allows me to send emails to different people depending on my differing needs?

I have tried using rules but this attempts to send to each rule in turn
rather than giving me the option.

I hope my question is clear.

I do not quite understand your question. If you want a rule to fire depending
on certain conditions, you can create a Condition on that rule (there is a
"Set Condition" button on the "Rule" dialog box which you can use to set up
conditions on a rule). If the make-up of your form must change according to
data, you can use Conditional Formatting on controls or sections to show/hide
them depending on certain conditions.

Hope this helps. If it doesn't, ask again if anything is still unclear.

I am trying to set up a form that takes information, requires a decision and
then an email to a separate person. The email recipient can change depending
on the nature of the information/result of my decision. Now, I can obviously
send an email outside of the form(e.g outlook/Hotmail etc) but that defeats
setting up the form in the first place and muddies its traceability.

How can I set up a form that allows me to take in information from a B or C
and send the result to c D E or F?

What do yo already have set up in the form?

I guess, the first place to start is by setting up a rule that changes the
email recipient based on the information changed. You can add a field to your
form to save the recipients name in, and then use a rule to set the value of
this field. This rule would have to go on other fields that determine which
recipient to send the email to. Once you've got that, you can create a submit
email adapter that uses this field to send the form as an attachment in an
email.

If you're totally new to InfoPath, I'd suggest doing the InfoPath labs first
to get familiar with the environment. See
