here is the scenario:
I am creating a new space plan,
I create 2 spaces (each assigned to different departments and each with
different name: space01-legal dept and space02-sales dept),
and i insert one chair into the space plan.
Now, when moving the chair to space01, i get for the chair Prop.Belongsto
equal to space01. If I rename the space01 to a different name,
Prop.Belongsto of chair does not refresh unless I take the chair out of the
space01 and reposition it again within the renamed space.
a) can I bypass that? Anychance of refreshing without repositioning?
b) what is the formula for the Prop.Belongsto that reads from the space the
chair is inserted?
Furthermore, if I set a formula for the Prop.Department of the chair equal
to the Prop.Department of the space, the value I constantly get is always
equal to the first space I have created. The syntax I use is the following:
Space!Prop.Department
I assume I am doing something wrong which may seem very obvious to you.
Please assist if possible.
