I am trying to teach myself some development skills. I am developing a
financial application with SQL 2000 as the DB. It is not very complicated.
Starting out, the database will have data on public companies. Including but
not limited to the following:
Daily stock prices (open and close)
Corp.Executives bio info.
Analysts comments, press releases, etc.
Financial results from 10Q and other forms to SEC or other gov't bodies.
Financial performance metrics, results.
I may have stated beyond v1.0 which is basic info.
I want to do this with a web front end as well as InfoPath front end. I will
start with creating the layout of basic forms for viewing, entering or
changing data. What kind of things should I be aware of? Can anyone suggest
quick tips & tricks?
TIA,
Rich
