Newbie help removing stratup menu bar

Hi

I've created a project using Access XP, I use a switchboard form as my
database application main window, on the startup menu option I've unchecked
all option regardin meneus, toolbars and special access function keys, but I
still get a default menu when my application opens and I do not want
that!!!!used the autoexec macro to load a splash screen then the switchboard
form appears.

Sorry if this seems very stupid.

Don't worry, that's a very common situation. Hold down the SHIFT key when you
click on the Access program file to load it. The Autoexec is ignored and you
can get to the icons and menu items as if the problem never happened.

The easy way to fix this is to make a tiny simple menu bar with file->exit
on it. If you specify this in the tools->startup, then everything can be
hidden.
