Newbie to the list

I want to use Word to print a set of file folder labels on standard label
forms.

How is this done?

TIA

The simplest method is to select the label outline in the Envelope/Label
tool then click 'New Document' to give you a table to type in. Alternatively
set up a list of folder titles and merge this list into a label format. See

To clarify Graham's advice, go to Tools | Envelopes and Labels (Tools |
Letters and Mailings | Envelopes and Labels in Word 2002 and above) and
click Options on the Labels tab. Select the appropriate stock number for
your file folder labels (such as Avery 5066), click OK, then click New
Document... The labels are set up as a table, so be sure you have table
gridlines displayed (Table | Show Gridlines) so that you can see the label
boundaries.
