I have a slide where I've taken a larger picture that has labels, and for
each label I made a copy of the picture, cropped it to show only that one
label, then I placed the label exactly on top of where that label is in the
original picture.
Now I want to use motion paths to bring each label (one at a time) to the
side of the graphic so I have a list (even if it is graphics and not text),
to speak to during the presentation. I don't want to just make text show up,
I really want the visual of having each piece move (location and order is
important to make my point)
I've used motion paths only a few times before, but it has always worked
exactly as expected. In this case, I get no actual motion, and where a click
should start each of the motion paths, instead it just takes me to the next
slide.
I know that PowerPoint has trouble compressing pictures if you have multiple
copies of the same picture in the same show; is this somehow related, where
Powerpoint skips the motion path animation because it isn't sure which image
to animate?
Using Office2003 on WinXP.
Thanks,
Keith
