Newbie problem publishing excel

I had a simple spread sheet I wanted to use as a order
form on the web. I published it to my website but it only
opens with an icon.
I have Office 2000 and the web components installed.
I can open the websheet in a browser on my computer.

it doesn't work like that. the owc is intended for client side use. you
cannot put it on a server.
you will also run into licencing issues as well because your clients must
have a licence to run under interactivity. if this is intended for internet,
use a datagrid or some other form.
