Newbie Q - Starup Switches or Script?

L

lucius

I am configuring Word 2003 in a Terminal Server/Citrix environment
along with Adobe Acrobat 7. Right now, the side taskbar starts up,
recent document show, and a macro alert shows that asks if "PDFMaker"
should be allowed to run.

Using startup switches or a custom startup script, how can I configure
Word to show no side taskbar, no recent documents, and automatically
allow PDFMaker macro stuff?

Thanks.

Hello Lucius,

I would like to suggest you follow this KB article to use the startup
switch for Word.

You could specify to start with a Macro and start a new document.

How to use startup command line switches to start Word 2003, Word 2002, and
Word 2000

Hope this helps.
