Hi guys,

I am new in this forum and this is my first post. I am a mac user and
starting to use Powerpoint on Mac on more frecuent bases. I have to
questions.

1 - Is there any keyboard shortcut to change through open files in
Powerpoint? Besides going to window menu and selecting the file...

2 - The "Format Palette" (i dunno is the right name in english is a
translation from spanish) is the one that I can customize besides de
main Toolbar Palette. I believe is damaged, because it will not move
around as it used to, some functions will not work or open when I
click, it is very annoying to click and click or try to move it and
the Palette is dead. Can I reset it to make it work or is a problem
of the file or version? Does anybody has had that problem?

I need to finish a presentation at work and I will appreciate any help
on that. Thanks a lot and Best!

Mac OS keystroke - Command+` - toggles between windows of the active
application.

Not sure *why* it happens, but MVP John McGimpsey has what may be a solution

Hi Cyber Taz,

Thanks a lot for the very good information you sent me. My keybord is
in spanish so Comand+` will not apply. I have to find a substitute for
it. I dunno if there is an universal keyboard shortcut that works for
everything regardless of the keyboard languages.

Thanks also for the link on the Format Palette, a quite inconvinient
thing, I must add.

Best,

Sebastiao

Since it's an OS X feature it should be available regardless of kybd
layout - it's just a matter of finding out what the equivalent is :) take a
look in AppleMenu>System Preferences>International or bring up Mac Help
while in Finder & do a keyword search for the word shortcuts.

Thanks a lot Cyber for the info. I just found the way to do it in
System Preferences >Keyboard>Shortcuts...

I have the same problem that I cannot drag or insert some objects to
my slides. Some of the characters are differnt than they seem. I want
the details of your solution from keyboard>shortcuts.

Hi Ercument -

First point I would offer is that what you describe is most definitely not
the "same problem" discussed in this thread. Secondly, even if it were,
posting at the end of a resolved thread is not likely to catch the eye of
anyone who can help you out. Thirdly, if your problem were the same the
solution here would have worked for you as well.

Please post your issue as a *new* message to start another thread & make
sure to include particulars such as OS version, Office version, type of Mac
as well as a detailed description of what you are trying to do, how you are
trying to do it and what is or is not happening.
