Helllo ppl,
I want to use visio and visual studio to do the following:
To create a console application that connects to a database, retrieves the
database schema information and then creates diagrams of this. I know that
visio does this for me, except it crashes, so it doesn't give the
relationships.
So, the only stencil i will need to load is the entity_m.vss, load the
information of each table into the entity master and then add the connectors.
I am having a hard time finding a simple example to do this, and looking at
the examples in the sdk doesn't help a lot. Is this even possible?a console
application that loads the stencils, uses routing and all of those
functionalities that visio has and saves it into a file? and is there a
newbie faq out there that i can read?
I'm not being lazy, and no, i don't want anyone to code it for me, i'm
really having a hard time working out how this works. I will be using c#.
cheers
