Can someone please help.

I have been asked to buy 5 copies of Project and came across the Serve
edition with 5 CLT.

Does this mean I can install Project onto 5 machines or that it allow
5 PC's with Project already on to connect to it and therefore wil
require me to purchase this and 5 copies of Project Pro.

Cheers
Ji

Jim:

Microsoft Office Project is a different product than Microsoft Office
Project Server. To manage projects, you must have the Project client
software. Project Server adds collaborative features but *does not* replace
the Project client functionality. The 5 CALs that the SKU refers to are for
using the Project Web Access, a browser-based collaborative interface that
is part of Project Server. Project Server is not a stand-alone solution
without licenses for the Project Client. On the other hand, you can use
Project without using Project Server.
