Newbie question

I have been developing with VBA in Access for several years, but...... I
know nothing about addins. I would like to build my own addin that collects
information on a form and then builds ADO and SQL recordsets. I find myself
writing code way too often for these tasks and would like to automate them.
I own MOD XP and VB6 and would prefer to work in the VBA developement
enviroment via Access.
I need a point in the right direction...a book or tutorials, etc.
I know there are great developers with lots of knowledge to share in these
news groups.
TIA
Bill Taylor
P.S. thanks to all, especially the MVPS that help the rest of us.

I can't recommend more highly 'Building Applications with Microsoft Outlook'
by Randy Byrne.

This is what I used in the early days of getting to grips with Outlook
development, plus the myriad of sites accessed through Google.

www.SlipStick.com hosted by Sue Mosher is always a good starting place for
'how did they do that type of questions....'. She is also a frequent
contributor to these forums and I echo your thanks to her and the other
MVPS.

Regards
Graeme
