Newbie with FP 2000 - error can't open?

Like a lot of you (probably) I want to learn FrontPage to sell some of my
collectibles (read - garbage my wife has not thrown out yet) on ebay.

There is an item that I want to borrow much of the format from listed right
now on ebay.

I have this really neat drop down off the menu that says I can edit the page
with MS FrontPage.

I tried, error opening page.

So, I saved the page to my hard drive, then tried again. Same error,
suggesting FrontPage can't open.

Now, what the sam hill does that mean?

Sure I can open it, it's right there on the "C" drive, stupid program!

Anyone know what's going on?

[Or better yet, perhaps another application I could use, as my mastery of
FrontPage is only in having a copy of Office Premium that includes MS
FrontPage)

Sorry for the juxtaposition of bracket/slash/parens.

And oh yes, made the machine set itself for automatic repair, *like* that
had anything to do with it.
