Just started to enjoy tables and ran into a problem that I hope you
can kelp me with.

when i erect my table and start to type, a dark blue color fills the
entire line going across. If I hit enter, it just spreads the blue to
fil up the other open columns and lines. I can't see what I an typing!

Please help.

Thanks

Known error, at least. It took quite a long time to identify the cause, but
it was eventually isolated: the presence of specific buttons on the Quick
Access Toolbar gives this result. Among the buttons known to cause the error
are "Different First Page" and "Different Odd and Even." If you don't have
either of these buttons on the QAT, you may have some others that have not
yet been identified as causing it.

There was some speculation at first that it was actually a matter of having
*too many* buttons on the QAT, but then I think that possible cause was
eliminated in favor of these specific buttons.
