Newby question on new page

I have tried to add a page to my web, added it on the navigation set up and
saved it, when I tried to upload there is no folder in the web folder what
am I doing wrong

Make sure you have opened a web, and not just a page using File Menu | Open
Web, then create your new page, save the page prior to adding any content,
then drag the page into Navigation View where you want it to appear.
