Newest Office Xp Update says "Use a cd"< < Where is it?

D

Dorothy

I didn't get one ( Mic Word CD) with my new puter from
Gateway that I purchased new in May 2002. Due to
Illnesses in family we didn't get the computer set up til
last month...and I have been trying to update everything
since then, this wouldn't update..It is called the....

"Download Office XP Service Pack 2"

I downloaded the update above>>>but then It couldn't
install it because it said I had to put a Microsoft Word
CD in the cd drive and click ok. I do not have a
Microsoft Word Cd that I know of..I only have the ones
they gave me from Gateway when I purchased the computer.
What do I do now?

My computer is Windows XP Home Edition 2002
Service Pack 1

Hi Dorothy,

If MS Works Suite came with the PC the Word CD is
CD#1 in that set. If not, you'll need to contact
Gateway for a replacement CD.
