I am having issues with Outlook contacts. I have had a few addresses seem to
disappear in the past. All of these were added directly from the email, so I
wrote it off as a minor bug relating to addresses that were entered through
this method.
Today I am looking up a contact that I know I entered manually and get no
result. I add his contact details in again manually this morning and get a
"Do you want to update the existing contact, or add a new one" type message.
This means that the old contact *did* exist as I thought. So now I have 2
contacts in the contact database with probably the same information.
I go to call up his info again as I need to call him and get the "contact
doesn't exist" message again.
I have entered the start of this contact's surname as it is not a common
prefix (Dya-)and searched through Contacts, Global Address List, All Address
Lists, etc and found no contact.
Any ideas?
