Newly added user gets "Access Denied" trying to access PWA

Hi All,

I'm having a weird problem with Office Project Server 2007:

I've created the PWA site successfully and when I am logged on as
myself (the site administrator) I can see main PWA site just fine.
However when I tried to add other users to the "Project Managers"
groups they get an access denied error everytime they try to access
the url. It doesn't matter if I add them manually or they click
"Request Access" and I add them. The result is always the same: Access
Denied. The event log/log files have nothing suspicious in them.

Are you adding them through the Project Server Admin -> Manage Users
page? If not, this is the way it should be done. Adding them through
the normal SharePoint Site Settings page will not give them access to
Project Server functions. The request access function does this, and
is not sufficient for allowing users to access the server.
