Newly created Access mdb files contain Macros, how do I stop it?

I create a new Access DB using the blank template
I create a new table in design view with one column and 2 rows
I save the database
I try to re-open it and get the following error message:

Security Warning

Opening "D:\....\test.mdb"

This file may not be safe if it contains code that was intended to harm your
computer. Do you want to open this file or cancel the operation.

etc..

Everything works fine, but when I try to email the DB to someone, it is
bounced by their firewall because of the Macros or Active X components or
something.

What do I do?

You sure that's why it was blocked, or was it strictly because their e-mail
client blocks .MDB files?

Try zipping it. You might even try changing the extension from .zip to
something else to fool their e-mail client.

Microsoft Outlook blocks any .mdb files by default. You have to edit your
h_key in the registry to allow them. I Googled the problem the other day and
there was a very easy fix to do; however be aware that you will then have a
vulnerability to macros being unleashed on your computer via those files.
