newly installed outlook 2003 does not load properly

I recently installed office 2003 with outlook 2003.
When I start up the outlook for the first time, it loads and then freezes.
If I exit and start again it works properly.
Any suggestions on fixing the freeze up at first time start up problem?

Was it an upgrade from a previous version or was it the first time you ever
installed an Office product on that system? In case of the first; try it
with a clean mail profile;
