Last week I had to start reinstalling everything on my computer, including
Windows XP and Outlook following a major problem with the computer. Last
night I got around to reconfiguring Outlook 2003 to invoke Outlook Express as
the newsgroup reader. I followed Outlook 2003's instructions to add the
"news" button to Outlook 2003's "Go" drop down toolbar menu, and all seemed
to work fine. I even then subscribed to and read a number of newsgroups,
etc...
However, today, when I opened up Outlook 2003, the "news" button is gone
from the "Go" toolbar menu! And, when I try to (once again) add the "news"
button to the "Go" toolbar menu from the "add button" "customize" "command"
"Go" list (as I did yesterday, when I first set it up), the "news" button is
no longer on the list of choices to add to the "Go" toolbar!
I seem to recall I had the very same problem right after I first configured
Outlook 2003 to open Outlook Express as the newsgroup reader when I first
bought the computer 18 months ago - but I have no recollection of what was
done to solve the problem back then...
Anhy and all help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks,
