I have installed the Outlook Social Connector on my computer, and since doing
so, the default 'News Feed' folder keeps on replicating itself, i.e. I end up
with a list of News Feed folders, as follows:-
News Feed
News Feed 1
News Feed 2
News Feed 3
News Feed etc. . . .
This replication continues until I reach 20 News Feed folders when it stops
.. . .This problem didn't happen until I installed the Outlook Social
Connector today.
It takes about 24 hours for Outlook to reach the maximum 20 folders.
I am running Windows 7 32-Bit, Office 2007 Enterprise and using Outlook with
the Outlook Connector to access my Hotmail account, which is the only email
account Outlook has configured.
Additionally, I have another computer which is also running Windows 7 and
has had Office 2010 Beta installed (for about 3 weeks) which comes with the
Outlook Social Connector by default - This computer has the same problem with
the News Feed folder replicating.
I'm assuming that the problem is the Outook Social Connector, as my computer
running Office 2007, didn't has this problem until I installed it.
Has anyone else experienced the same problem?
Any ideas on how this can be stopped?
