news group missing

I am using Microsoft Outlook Express 2003. I moved the news to the
"go" menu and it seemed to work OK. When I started Outlook again the
news is gone. What happened?

Mary, thanks I see the news reader.
Internet Options, Programs, select Outlook Express as your news reader. OL
does't have a reader of its own. It uses OE's.
