news groups for onenote

I am trying to set up a newsgroup for office, or onenote in outlook express.
In IE 6,
that's easy. In office online, you can set it up from the file menu, at the
top left
corner, click on new, click on post, and then outlook express opens, and you
can subscribe. But In IE 7, there is no file menu. So, my question is: How do
I subscribe
to the office and onenote newsgroups, for outlook subscriptions, using IE 7.

Use Outlook Express, Diana, and set up OE for the msnews.microsoft.com news
server and get away from using the web-based interface. OE will let you do
many more things, like viewing only unread posts so you don't need to wade
through everything to find messages You can even code your own posts with
color to make them easier to spot, or follow certain threads you might be
interested in. Once you set up OE with the msnews server, you can then
access all or any of Microsoft's newsgroups. If you have problems, take a
look in OE's Help section, where there's a guide.

Good deal, Diana. If you poke around in Outlook Express a bit (or look in
Help), you'll see Message Rules under the Tools drop-down menu with a lot of
options. The View menu also has options in Current View, such as Hide Read
Messages (it doesn't delete them, just hides them once you've read them),
which is very helpful.
