Can anyone tell me hoe to view messages in a news group by thread? I Have
seen in postings on the web that you can go to View -> Arrange by -> and
then click Threaded view. But I do not see Threaded view. If anyone has
information on this I would appreciate it!

Thank you !

There is no threaded view any more, at least in entourage 2004. But, you can
define your custom view, by adding a custom arrangement.
Go to view --> arrange by --> edit custom arrangements and create your own
view. U have to group items by subject.

Thx,

cax

I had to stop using Entourage because their threading of newsgroups is
pathetic. It threads based on subject instead of message ID and so when
someone changes the subject -at all- their pseudo-threading is broken.

This is not a robust threading system like a true newsreader uses. It is an
improvement over sorting by subject. I don't expect the Entourage newsreader
will ever be as robust as a full fledged newsreader. It does allow for easy
assess to newsgroups....especially the Microsoft newsgroups where you can
get help.
