I've just upgraded to Outlook 2007, and I would like to know whether I can
set up my newsgroup accounts in Outlook 07, which I currently have in Outlook
Express. I looked in help, and in the Tools>Accounts, and all I found was
something about RSS feeds. I tried to read the help about those, but it made
no sense to me. I tried to add one of my news accounts
(pnews.thedbcommunity.com) but I kept getting an error message stating,
"Outlook cannot process the RSS content
from(http://pnews.thedbcommunity.com). The link may not point to a valid RSS
source. I don't understand from RSS, but I'd really like to not have to keep
switching from Outlook to OE to access my newsgroups.

Outlook isn't a newsreader. Continue to use Outlook Express instead or
whatever your favorite newsreader is.

There are at least two add-ins that allow you to add newsgroup
capabilities to Outlook. My company has one (www.shorelinesoftware.com)
and MAPI Lab is another (www.mapilab.com). There was a third one whose
name I can't recall at the moment.
