Newsletter images

I have created a newsletter which is a single table with eleven sections. In
one of the sections I have inserted a jpg image of a calendar of events.

I then sent the newsletter from my Gmail account to my Outlook Express,
JUNO, RoadRunner, and Gmail accounts. The JUNO and Gmail accounts do not
display the jpg calendar of events, however, Outlook Express and RoadRunner
do.

Any ideas why this could be happening?

Settings and Security.

Every email program can be set to show or not show HTML, images etc.
Outlook, for example, defaults to not showing images for security reasons
until you click to download them. You can't control how people have their
email programs set up or what security levels are set.

For example, for Gmail, see the Help File.
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=8833&query=images&topic=&type=f&ctx=search
It says:

Why can't I see the images in a message?

When you open new messages, some images may not appear immediately. Gmail
disables images to protect you from unknown senders, like spammers, who use
images and links to verify that your email address is real.

Here's how to view those images:

Log in to your Gmail account.
Open the message.
Click Display images below in the green box above your message. Or, if you'd
like to always view images from a particular sender, click Always display
images from (e-mail address removed) instead.

If you choose to always display images from a particular sender, you can
disable this functionality at any time by following these steps:

Log in to your Gmail account.
Open the message.
Click More options.
Click Don't display from now on.

David,

Thank you! I am aware that in Outlook Express, I have chosen the option to
NOT display images and can click message to Display. However, Gmail does not
have the green box above my message or anywhere else that I can see. I am
also positive that several weeks back, I did see an option that allowed me
to view or not view images. But now I do not. I looked through JUNO and also
see NO way to display images, at least NOT obvious.

Any other thoughts.

Is the email html with images, or is it one big image?

It is basically an all HTML single table newsletter with a width="100%",
Eleven sections, with one of the sections having a combination of text and
image of a calendar of events that has a width of 100%.

Does this shed any light on the problem?

Yes, the path to the calendar image may be incorrect.

Try creating the email in Outlook Express (not Outlook) and send it from
there to the others and see if it makes a diff.
