Newsreader in Outlook 2003 Vanished

The news icon has vanished from outlook 2003. I tried the suggested help
solution of going to tools and finding it under the go selection, but it was
not there. I originally set up news in office express. When I set it up in
office my forums were automatically brought over. But when i tried to use
news it disappeared.

any suggestions

To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, click the "Don't ask me again" box and then click the No button.

You may need to reset the menu or toolbar using Tools, customize.

This did it. Actually Outlook (not OE) prompted me to make it the default
newsreader. At first I said yes. I should have said no.
