Newsreader in Outlook 2003

I followed the help to add the newsgroup reader to the Go
menu in Outlook 2003 - worked fine. Came back later; it
had gone from the menu. Couldn't replace it because it
was no longer available to add to the menu. Tried re-
installing Outlook 2003, then totally uninstalled Office
2003 and reinstalled it - still not available.

Has anyone got any ideas?

Read the multitude of posts on this issue.
Set OE as the default news reader in Control Panel > Internet Options... >
Programs
Do NOT set that option in OE itself.

I have had this same experience. Newsreader is lost and can't be loacated.
