HI, guys - how are you doing? I have a question for you. A client of mine
wants a night shift to start at 7pm and end at 7am. When I try to create
this shift, the calendar is not happy going over midnight. Any suggestions?

The working time calendar actually represents the times worked on the
specific day of the week, not necessariliy a continuous block of time such
as a shift. So a shift that arrives Tues night and goes home Wed morning
works the first half of their shift on Tuesday and the second half on
Wednesday. This would be represented as:
Tues
12mid - 7am (Tues work by the group coming in Mon night)
7pm - 12 mid (Tues work by the group coming in Tues night)
Wed
12mid - 7am (Wed work by the group arriving Tues night)
7pm-12mid (Wed work by the group arriving Wed night)
etc etc

This is just an FYI. If there are specific task working a night shift, you
will be OK. If you are trying to create a schedule and have the day shift
complete then the night shift take over, it will not work. The day shift
duration will have to be completed before the night shift can begin.
